The World Pistachio Congress (WPC) will be present at PistaDica 2026, the 3rd National Pistachio Innovation Forum, to be held on Tuesday 24 November from 08:00 to 15:00 at the Hotel Eurostars Palacio Buenavista in Toledo. The congress will take centre stage at the closing of the event, led by Ricardo Migueláñez, general coordinator of the WPC, and Ernesto Tardío Boo, CEO of Solagro.
During the presentation, one registration for the World Pistachio Congress will be raffled among attendees who scan a QR code. The congress will hold its first edition on 27 and 28 January 2027 at the Toledo Congress Centre.
PistaDica is organised by Solagro Ingeniería Alimentaria Avanzada and Canal DICA, with Repsol Empresas as Platinum sponsor. Solagro is, in turn, a Platinum sponsor of the World Pistachio Congress. The event, hosted by Castilla-La Mancha Media journalist Jorge Jaramillo Sánchez, is structured around sessions on connecting stakeholders across the sector, commercial strategies and international markets, production efficiency and sustainability, and industrial innovation and new processing technologies.
Announced participants include Julián Martínez Lizán, Regional Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development of Castilla-La Mancha, and Richard Matoian, former executive director of American Pistachio Growers. The programme also features a round table on international demand, moderated by consultant Juan Vilar, with representatives from Jupiter Pistachios, Calconut, Importaco and Fruit Service.
The forum is fully booked, and the organisers are keeping a waiting list open on the Canal DICA website, through which they will confirm any places that become available.
