Organizing Committee

This committee is composed of representatives from the main institutions, sectoral organizations, public and private entities, as well as strategic sponsors linked to the pistachio sector at an international level.

Main objectives and functions:

  • Supervise the overall organization of the congress, ensuring compliance with the work plan, institutional coordination and the correct operational structure.
  • Define and consolidate the corporate image of the WPC, positioning it among companies, institutions, the media, sponsors and the sector as a whole.
  • Promote and disseminate the congress internationally, carrying out communication activities and positioning it as a global reference event for the pistachio sector.
  • Participate in the development of the general program, in coordination with the Scientific Committee, which leads the technical and academic content.
  • Articulate collaboration among the different actors in the sector, integrating sponsors, companies, associations, public and private institutions into a participatory, inclusive and global model.
     

Strategic role within the WPC

The Organizing Committee promotes the World Pistachio Congress as an internationally recognized brand and a global meeting point for all operators in the value chain: producers, the processing industry, marketers, researchers, institutions and financial institutions.

Its aim is to showcase the pistachio not only as an emerging strategic crop, but also as a high-quality product with economic, nutritional and environmental impact.

Furthermore, it promotes international cooperation between producing and consuming countries, public-private collaboration, the development of R&D&I projects and the creation of new business opportunities, strengthening the global positioning of the pistachio sector.
