Numerous companies are already committed to being part of the World Pistachio Congress. Will you join them?

A congress is built on ideas, speakers and attendees, but also on those who decide to support it before it takes place. The World Pistachio Congress (WPC), whose first edition will be held on 27–28 January 2027 at the Toledo Congress Centre, already has eleven companies that have chosen to stand behind it from the very beginning.

Since its launch, Platinum sponsors Solagro and Agroisa have been joined by Sabadell, Cimbria, Alltech Crop Science and TOMRA as Gold sponsors, and by Grupo IberoPistacho, Agróptimum, AgroBank, Veolia and Agroseguro as Silver sponsors.

The business and institutional diversity of this support says a great deal about what the Congress itself aims to be: banking, agricultural insurance, engineering, technology, water management, crop science, and pistachio growers and processors all share a common interest in a crop that is growing exponentially and needs forums in which to share knowledge and create opportunities.

The different sponsorship and partnership options are set out in the Sponsorship Dossier, available via this link.

In addition, those who have not yet registered have today, 30 September, their last chance to do so at the reduced early-bird rate, via this link. Standard rates will apply from tomorrow.

A meeting point for the entire value chain

The WPC will bring together in Toledo growers, technical experts, industry, traders, researchers and institutional representatives from Spain and abroad. Its Scientific and Organising Committees, made up of leading figures in research, production, industry and sector organisations, are working on a programme that will cover genetics and production, irrigation and fertilisation, processing, quality and food safety, sustainability, health, markets and innovation.

The Congress will also feature an International Poster Competition and a gala dinner, and it has been created with continuity in mind: the organisers see it not as a one-off event, but as a permanent professional platform for the sector.

The current context largely explains the interest the project is generating. World pistachio production exceeds one million tonnes, with the United States, Iran and Turkey as the leading producers. Spain has become Europe's leader by cultivated area, with around 80,000 hectares and growth of roughly 8,500 ha per year, led by Castilla-La Mancha, which accounts for around 80% of national production.

And, importantly, being part of the first edition of the WPC means associating your brand with a project born with an international outlook and a commitment to continuity, before a professional audience spanning the entire pistachio value chain.

For this reason, the organisers invite companies, cooperatives and institutions to take the step and join this group of sponsors.

With this support, the World Pistachio Congress looks ahead to the coming months with its sights set on Toledo. A first edition only happens once: the time to be part of it is now.
