Alltech Crop Science has joined the World Pistachio Congress (WPC) as a Gold Sponsor. The Congress will bring together growers, cooperatives, industry, researchers and public authorities from the main pistachio-producing and consuming countries in Toledo on 27–28 January 2027.
Alltech Crop Science is a division of Alltech providing natural-based products, technical information and solutions to the agronomic and horticultural challenges facing producers worldwide, and has been operating since 1994. The company specialises in nutrigenomics, precision fermentation and microbial research, and positions itself as a soil health specialist in tree crops such as olives and almonds across Southern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
In Spain, its activity is supported by two group companies: Murcia-based Solbiosur, specialised in agricultural and horticultural crop solutions, and Ideagro, an agri-food R&D specialist with laboratories and experimental stations for field trials in Spain. Ideagro also carries out mycotoxin analyses, including aflatoxin B1, one of the main concerns in the international pistachio trade.
Through its participation in the Congress, Alltech Crop Science supports a fast-growing sector in which orchard sustainability, soil health and nut quality will be key to strengthening its position in the markets.
