The World Pistachio Congress (WPC), the leading international forum created to promote the organization, innovation, and global projection of the pistachio sector, continues to attract strategic support from key companies across the value chain. On this occasion, Agroptimum and Agroisa have joined the project as sponsors, reinforcing their commitment to the development and professionalization of a crop that is experiencing strong growth both in Spain and internationally. The first edition of the WPC will take place on January 27–28, 2027, in Toledo, Spain, and aims to become the world’s premier meeting point for the pistachio industry.
The incorporation of both companies represents significant support for an initiative designed to bring together growers, nurseries, service providers, processors, marketers, researchers, and institutional representatives to jointly address the main challenges and opportunities facing the pistachio sector. Through their sponsorship, Agroptimum and Agroisa will contribute to the development of the activities included in the “Road to the WPC” programme, which features technical conferences, professional networking events, and outreach initiatives leading up to the congress.
The World Pistachio Congress organization has expressed its appreciation for the confidence both companies have placed in a project conceived as a permanent platform for knowledge sharing, cooperation, and innovation across the entire sector. The participation of Agroptimum and Agroisa will help further strengthen an open and collaborative initiative that seeks to establish pistachios as one of the strategic crops of the future and reinforce Spain’s leadership in the international pistachio industry.
